Our Vision:
The Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Specific Interest Group (OGPSIG) is dedicated to networking and advancing the state of the art in professional project management for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry, and is recognized as an industry leader with a passion for excellence.

Our Mission:
To provide a recognized forum for the focus and exploration of ideas for applications and solutions to project management challenges related to the management of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical projects. We will foster communication among members and disseminate information within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical project management community regarding current techniques and developments in project management. We will use our expertise to achieve and maintain "world class project management" for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals industry.

Oil, Gas and Petrochemical SIG Objectives

• Keep PMI members abreast of key sources of information and contacts regarding Oil, Gas and Petrochemical project management.
• Exchange information and ideas to assure current, inclusive oil, gas, and petrochemical project management knowledge and competencies are available to complement "A guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK guide).
• Promote learning through effective communication including networking and the sharing of problems and ideas.
• Solicit and review articles related to Oil, Gas and Petrochemical project management for PMI publications
